Yes, these canons are a fair amount older than the original digidestined when they were in the Digital world, but the ages won't be changing. Other than that, remember the crests that have been assigned, the character needs to carry traits (at least two) that support it. The partner will be filled in when you come to claim the canon after you have been accepted, remember you may not receive the same Digimon as the parent of your character.
