Kunikyou was made by the four angels and their subordinates so magic can prosper and thrive. However, one subordinate, Lilitien, was greedy for power and created a forbidden race, demons. Beautiful and powerful, demons roamed the world and fed on everyone, until the Angels and the Uzuki Family found a way to seal them away.
Lilitien was determined to gain power, and created a terrible monster named Chernobog, which didn't last long. He was quickly sealed away by the Angels. However, one foolish man attempted to summon him, causing the terrible Demon War.
Eventually, the Angels and the Uzuki family were able to seal away Chernobog in the largest mountain in the continent Reikai, ending the grueling years of this war. Lilitien was extremely displeased, and fought the Angels on her own, but no one knows what happened afterwords. It is rumored that Lilitien was sealed away, but it will always remain a mystery.
