pretty little blocks

this isn't a question or comment about the site, but a question coming from my own stupidity. i've ntoiced that my none of my codes are working here. i'm not used to proboards, but when i post it makes big vomits of paragraphs instead of the pretty little blocks i like so much. i've tried the

code, but it's not doing anything for me; if thats even what it does, that is. as i said, i'm not very well versed in proboards codes. but some of you do make the neat little cubes, and i was wondering what code you used for that. i'm not one to make my posts very fancy or anyting, but that was one thing i always liked to do. =)

I'm not sure as to what you mean by neat little boxes, the only thing I can think of doing is when you write a certain amount of text and then jump down to the next line. But that can be rather time consuming just to get one post out.

Otherwise the only other thing that may make things closer together would be a few blockquotes. Or justifys. Which three of those would look like this.
