Strawberries. They were probably one of the best tasting things around these parts, and Leah had stumbled onto a jackpot of nothing but strawberries. That was one of the good parts about this mountain oasis. There was enough grass and bushes that grew the strawberries that the red head enjoyed so much. Sucking the last bit of juice from the red fruit in her hand she set it down and stretched a bit. Grinning the lone girl glanced around her green surroundings and back to the soccer ball. "Kaaaeeelll..." Leah finally called out, "Wherever you're hiding you should come out now. Since I know you're here." she warned, a smile coming across her cheeks as she looked to the rustling bushes.
There was that pause again, the silence filled the area once more, and Leah wrinkled her nose slightly. Folding her arms over her chest for a moment. "Come on Kael, no more games I'm not a child." she stated, although she knew more often then not most people did consider her to be rather childish. Not that she would ever really own up to it, but that wasn't what she was really focusing on at the time. But, that had a lot to do with the fact that the long weasel of a Digimon that she had was rolling something out with him, as he emerged, pushing a round, dark purple and black egg alongside him.
"What on earth do you have there?" the words escaped from her mouth as she found herself standing and moving over to Kael and the Digiegg that he had with him. "Did you steal this?" gaining a narrowed gaze back at her from the Kudamon. "Do you really think I would do something like that? Honestly, I have better ways to spend my time, than going around seeing what I can and can't steal." he snorted once more and then nudged the egg towards Leah. "It was calling out your name when I found it, it must belong to you."
Leah blinked a moment when she heard this and looked back to Kael for a minute and then back down to the egg. "It was?" questioned Leah as she leaned down and picked up the slightly heavy egg and held it to her chest as she took the chance to thoroughly look over the specimen before her. "Aren't eggs just supposed to sort of sit there and not...talk?" she murmured raising a brow as she looked to Kael, who chuckled in response and shook his head. "Come, you should know by now that things around here are hardly ever the way they're supposed to be. Besides, most eggs will call out for their future partners when they're close to hatching."
"That means you better keep that egg pretty close to you, otherwise who knows what may happen. It may hatch and you won't be around to have your little baby." Kael wrinkled his own long, white, nose for a moment at the thought of that. "Or another baby for me to take care of." he shot, though there was a playful sort of glow in his features looked back to Leah. "I think both of us will be able to take care of it, just don't go getting us into big trouble. That would be even more so troublesome with a new born Digimon as well." Kael said before slithering over to Leah as she lightly kicked the soccer ball out into the clearing, lifting the egg once again as she moved.
"I'm hardly a child. I can take care of it. Plus, I can't be the only one whose found one of these eggs, can I? I bet others around the camp have before." though, Leah had to admit that she hadn't really seen many others with more than the one Digimon the recived upon entering the Digital World. So, finding that person to question may prove to be something rather difficult, which most definitely was not something that sounded very fun to her. Kael was the one who snorted in turn and then followed after the rolling soccer ball, kicking it forward himself as he moved forward. "Just make sure to keep an eye out for others, or any sort of on coming trouble." he warned once more before gliding back over to where Leah had decided to place the egg.
Leah, instead, moved over to the soccer ball and kicked it upwards, catching it with her foot and choosing to juggle it for the time. A smile lit her baby-face as she managed to juggle the old soccer from one foot to the other at least three more times. "Mmm, this would be so much better if there was someone to actually play with." grumbling a bit she gave a hopeful glance towards the weasel, who snickered and shook his pale his head.
"Tch. Laaaammmmee...Cooome ooon!" she poked at with another wide smile coming to her face.
